Fundamentally, the three Persons offer meaning to the three dimensions of being alive--science and the cosmos, personal relationships with our fellow human beings, and our interior life--consciousness and conscience.
It sometimes seems so obvious that the three directions we see--the world, its people, our selves--are the Three that Jesus, the son of man, the common man, the ordinary joe saw. Why don't other people see it?
